    Position Scope

    This position is based in Fort McMurray, NO CAMP provided working 5 days on, 2 days off.


    Class 1 air brakes with Journeyman crane ticket with at least 5 years ‘of craning experience on 40T knuckle boom.


    Experience in car carriers/deck trucks or slide axle trailers /highboy/step deck and 10 axle trailer.


    Experience in loading and unloading all types of components and heavy equipment  moving from site to site.        


    Must have operating skills for loading or unloading different types of equipment such has- D6 & D8 Dozers/EX350 & EX450  Excavators/16H Graders


    Must have load securement knowledge -     


    Must be Local & familiar with all sites(SITE ORIENTED PREFERRED)-     


    This job position is very demanding, there is a lot of climbing, squatting, crouching and kneeling etc.


    Shift is from Monday to Friday (Sometimes weekends when craning is needed)


    No Camp/No Flights


    Must have good communication skills.



    All successful candidates must:

    1. Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
    2. Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
    3. Have experience as requested as mentioned above
    4. Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:
    5. Breath Alcohol Test
    6. Urine Drug Test
    7. Fitness-to-Work Assessment
    8. Audiometric Testing
    9. Vision Screening
    10. Criminal Record Check

    Shift, site, and start times are subject to change.


    All successful candidates MUST provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date:

    1. OSSA or OSSA (BSO) Certification
    2. CSTS Certification
    3. Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
    4. Copy of recent Driver’s Abstract
    5. VOID cheque/direct deposit form

    Once dispatched the following processes will occur:

    1. Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing
    2. An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
    3. After all results are received by NACG candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site specific details.

    Please note the entire On-boarding process can take anywhere from 3-8 business days.
