    This is a site based Fort McMurray position, working 14x14, camp accommodations are NOT provided. Successful candidates will receive $50 per day worked Living out Allowance.



    Successful candidates must be willing to join the OE955 union.

    Base Rate$42.48
    Vacation Pay (6%)$2.55

    Full Rate$52.81


    • Must have minimum 3 years’ experience. Successful candidates must be a certified Red Seal Journeyman Mechanic (Highway Trucks). Experience on Western Star and Kenworth trucks as well as generators, light plants, heaters, and high pressure wash systems an asset. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.


    All successful candidates must:


    1. Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
    2. Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
    3. Have experience as requested as mentioned above
    4. Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:
      1. Breath Alcohol Test
      2. Urine Drug Test
      3. Fitness-to-Work Assessment
      4. Audiometric Testing
      5. Vision Screening
      6. Criminal Record Check

    Shift, site, and start times are subject to change.


    All successful candidates MUST provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date:

    1. OSSA Certification
    2. CSTS Certification
    3. Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
    4. Copy of recent Driver’s Abstract
    5. VOID cheque/direct deposit form


    Once dispatched the following processes will occur:

    1. Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing
    2. An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
    3. After all results are received by NACG candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site specific details.

    Please note the entire On-boarding process can take anywhere from 3-8 business days.
