    Successful candidates will be required to join the OE955 union.

    Position Scope

    This is a site based position in Fort McMuray, shift is 10 on 4 off, working 11.5 hours per day. No camp.

    Responsibilities

    Must have a minimum of 1 or more years’experience operating Packer. Willing to train, however, must have experience in mining environment.

     

    Summary

    Employee must arrive at orientation with OSSA, CSTS, Valid Class 5 license , and a driver’s abstract, meeting Canadian standards (issued within last 30 days), Void cheque/direct deposit on first day. Must be proficient in English, both verbally and written. Must undergo and successfully pass an A&D test.  Also, must be willing to undergo and successfully pass fitness for work testing. Must have experience on equipment mentioned above. Shift, site, and start times are subject to change.

     

    ONCE DISPATCHED YOU WILL RECEIVE A CALL FROM NORTH AMERICAN TO BOOK A PRE-ACCESS A&D TEST (MAY TAKE 2-3 DAYS).  ONCE SUCCESSFULLY PASSED YOU WILL BE CONTACTED AGAIN TO BOOK A FIT FOR WORK TEST.   AFTER RESULTS ARE RECEIVED BY NORTH AMERICAN (CAN BE 1-5 DAYS) CANDIDATES WILL AGAIN BE CONTACTED BY NORTH AMERICAN REGARDING START DATE AND ORIENTATION.  NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE, SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED.
