Successful candidates will be required to join the OE955 union.

 

Initiation Fees for union = $533.95

Union Dues = $136.64/month

 

Position Scope

This is a site based position in Fort McMurray at Syncrude, working 14x7 and camp accommodations are NOT provided.

 

Successful candidates will receive $50/day worked Living Out Allowance.

Responsibilities

  • Class 5 licence
    Red Seal/Alberta ticket
    Must be familiar with troubleshooting/diagnostic procedures such as SIS, ET, DREX. Current CVIP/Picker inspection
    $5 million insurance

       

Summary

All successful candidates must:

  1. Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
  2. Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  3. Have experience as requested as mentioned above
  4. Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:
  5. Breath Alcohol Test
  6. Urine Drug Test
  7. Fitness-to-Work Assessment
  8. Audiometric Testing
  9. Vision Screening
  10. Criminal Record Check

Shift, site, and start times are subject to change.

 

All successful candidates MUST provide the following items prior to confirmation of their start date:

  1. OSSA or OSSA (BSO) Certification
  2. CSTS Certification
  3. Copy of Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  4. Copy of recent Driver’s Abstract
  5. VOID cheque/direct deposit form

Once dispatched the following processes will occur:

  1. Will receive a call from NACG to set up all required pre-employment testing
  2. An email will be sent with all required New Hire Paperwork to be filled out
  3. After all results are received by NACG candidates will be contacted by Site Admin to schedule orientation and confirm your start date and other site specific details.

Please note the entire On-boarding process can take anywhere from 3-8 business days.
